Blogging at 21:30 on Saturday 29th June from intended overnighting spot N 52.21833°, W 00.72134° / http://maps.google.com/maps?q=loc:52.21833%2C-00.72134

Hot and sunny day today, forecast said cool and showers.

Tomorrow's bike course looks dreadful. Incredibly poor surfaces and lots of gravel strewn about.

Intended overnighting spot has been quite good for birds and butterflies, best of which was a ringlet.

Really cool ancient tree just behind camper (pic). It looks like an ash that's either dropped boughs or been struck by lightning. It's improbably clinging to life and has been a great spot for birds. As I type a little owl is using it as a base for hunting forays.
