Trip to Wiltshire questing for a camper. Stopped off at coordinates shown, a place called Clattinger Farm that reportedly has some of the finest wild-flower meadows in the UK and has an international rep. Even though still just grass and a few cowslips at this stage, they looked in fine fettle and another month or so should see them in full bloom.
Main reason for blog entry though is I saw my first swallows, about a dozen in all - feeding and calling.
