Altogether a day of nostalgia revisiting some of the haunts of teenage and early-20s holidays around the Tremadog Bay area.
There are more people here now and way more hideous caravan sites but apart from that nothing much has changed. There are even still irruptions of giant jellyfish and sadly they continue to perish when stranded. The whippet has never seen one before but was naturally cautious.
Now on the Leyn Peninsula at the coordinates shown where we're going to kip.
Not much notable birdlife around, best sighting of the day was a siskin. In other animal news Emma thinks she saw a roadkill pine marten and near to where we're camping I found a tiny enclosure near a derilict barn that was literally bouncing with thousands of frog hoppers.
