Wales Trip - Day 2

Just north of Harlech I spotted a cool public right of way out over some salt marsh, then open estuary, to Ynys Gifftan - an island completely cut off at anytime other than low tide.

It was tough to navigate the deep channels on the approach but we made it (coordinates) and were rewarded by awesome views of the utterly odd Portmeirion (pic).

A little while after we made it off, two blokes and a woman made their way there:  and the tide promptly cut them off. Looks like they were in for a few hours wait...
