THIS BLOGSITE IS PRIMARILY A LOCATION RECORDER / AIDE-MÉMOIRE FOR SOLO ROAD TRIPS AND DOMESTIC TRUCK TRIPS. IT'S ALSO SOMETIMES USED TO LOG OTHER RANDOM ACTS OF LOAFING AROUND.

NONE OF IT IS MEANT TO BE PARTICULARLY INTERESTING.

POSTS APPEAR IN DATE ORDER WITH THE MOST RECENT FIRST, BUT NAVIGATING TO SELECTED TRIPS OR FILTERING BY ACTIVITY IS EASILY ACHIEVED BY FOLLOWING THE RELEVANT LINKS.

St Neots Super Sprint Triathlon

Not really recovered from my Colonsay Trip, but I'm out and about again to do the above Super Sprint tomorrow. Currently regretting entering it and feeling generally fatigued...

Anyway, called to see Bri who's moored up in Wellingborough at the moment on his way further south. It was good to catch up, albeit briefly.

At the location shown now and I've had a wander about. It's a pretty decent rural arable area, with the added interest of some 'natural' habitat reclaiming bits of land along the periphery of an adjoining wind / solar farm. In only a few minutes I'd seen brown hare, greenfinch, corn buntings, meadow pipits and been utterly surrounded by skylarks. Viva the wastelands!
