Hereford Sprint Triathlon - Day 2

Blogging at 21:00 on Saturday 1st June from intended overnighting spot N 52.28403°, W 02.88374° / http://maps.google.com/maps?q=loc:52.28403%2C-02.88374

An early morning walk was rewarded by an actual muntjac sighting and some fantastic birdsong.

Did the Worcester Woods parkrun with just a gentle effort as we're racing tomorrow. There were about 400 participants. MCWs were very well represented.

Emma forgot to pack running shorts so had to wear my spares (pic).

Leisurely bumble thereafter that - as they often do - soon saw us on a steep and crumbling lane with vegetation scraping both sides and the top of the lorry simultaneously. So narrow was it, we had to pull the mirrors in.

Soon after met a friendly local farmer who gave us the heads up re the current spot and later came to visit us here to show his son the wagon.

Tri tomorrow...
