THIS BLOGSITE IS PRIMARILY A LOCATION RECORDER / AIDE-MÉMOIRE FOR SOLO ROAD TRIPS AND DOMESTIC TRUCK TRIPS. IT'S ALSO SOMETIMES USED TO LOG OTHER RANDOM ACTS OF LOAFING AROUND.

NONE OF IT IS MEANT TO BE PARTICULARLY INTERESTING.

Loafing - Day 1 - England

Blogging at 21:30 on Tuesday 18th April from intended overnighting spot N 53.65258°, W 00.13143° / http://maps.google.com/maps?q=loc:53.65258%2C-00.13143

First stop was at Faxfleet where I had a ride out on the bike. Notables were spoonbills and a couple of straggling barnacle geese at Whitton Island. Also had a couple of good male marsh harrier sightings and heard my first reed warbler of the year at Nine Acre Pond.

Second stop was Paull (pic) Not much doing as tide was fully in but pleasant enough in spring sunshine.

Now at Stone Creek. Lots going on here from grey seals to black-tailed godwits and golden plover in breeding plumage. Also saw grey plover and all the more expected species, as well as loads of ships.
