We made good use of fine weather by riding part of the Cleveland Way right over the tops of the moors. Fair to say it wasn't the easiest of rides.

We're right on the tops now, too, at the coordinates shown where we're going to kip (pic). There are times here that when the breeze drops that the silence is almost oppressive.

We've had a couple of walks out amongst the red grouse and it's been grand. Most notable sightings have been of small heath butterflies.
