THIS BLOGSITE IS PRIMARILY A LOCATION RECORDER / AIDE-MÉMOIRE FOR SOLO ROAD TRIPS AND DOMESTIC TRUCK TRIPS. IT'S ALSO SOMETIMES USED TO LOG OTHER RANDOM ACTS OF LOAFING AROUND.

NONE OF IT IS MEANT TO BE PARTICULARLY INTERESTING.

POSTS APPEAR IN DATE ORDER WITH THE MOST RECENT FIRST, BUT NAVIGATING TO SELECTED TRIPS OR FILTERING BY ACTIVITY IS EASILY ACHIEVED BY FOLLOWING THE RELEVANT LINKS.

Out and about to try to buy some wheels for the Delica.

The Wash is teeming. Best sightings around and about have been brown hares, dark-bellied Brent geese (loads), a peregrine perched on a fence post out on the salt marsh and a short-eared owl that I watched for ages both quartering and perched.

Nearly got wet, had been out on the marsh and saw the various creeks starting to back up so walked purposefully back to the sea-defences that separate the marsh from all the arable land. Within 10 minutes the area I'd been pootling was under water (pic)...
