Another new place for me, Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust's Far Ings Reserve, on the south side of the Humber right next to the bridge.
It's adjacent to Barton on Humber and the car parks betray dubious nocturnal activity in the form of pizza boxes, lager cans and worse... This is not a place to overnight.
Wildlife doesn't seem to care though, within 20 minutes I'd seen a close up bittern in flight and half a dozen bearded tits.
Off home after this reserve, taking the truck over the Humber Bridge for the first time. At £1.50 for a motorhome it'd be rude not to.
