Things to remember:
Sainsbury's breakfast.
Six middle-aged people swimming in the crashing surf before 9.00am off the shingle beach at Newhaven.
An almost certain cetacean glimpse heading into Dieppe.
About 30 people all dressed in Christmas stuff on horseback just outside Dieppe.
Windy night with irritating rain sploshes on roof. Had to bug up.
