Made it to Lihou Island (coordinates). It's the first time since I arrived that it's been possible as it's only accessible by a causeway that's cut off by the tide. Throughout August it's only achievable for 16 days and then only for two hours at a time.

There's used to be a priory and adjoining dwelling here but now there's only one property on the island (pic).

It's a cool place with lots of pristine habitat. Saw a marsh harrier here.
